As soccer jerseys become more and more part of the fashion system, Demna Gvasalia has decided to take the plunge with a $780 football jersey.
Presented during the Balenciaga Fall / Winter 2020 fashion show, the shirt incorporates all the most classic elements of football jersey, reinterpreting it with a boxy cut and a loose fit. The branding Balenciaga is instead present in four different variations, from the team crest to the two sponsors. To complete the piece there are the number 10 on the back of the shirt and the patch on the shoulder.
