Messi still better than Ronaldo, but Lukaku has something to complain to
September 11th, 2020
Waiting for the release of Fifa 21 - scheduled for October 6, almost a month after the ordinary release of the game - meanwhile <span '="">for the egamers have released the first 100 overall of players of the next edition of the series of EA Sports. On the cover, for this Fifa, the cover star for the Standard, Champions League and Ultimate Edtions editions will be Kylian Mbappe, although the French striker, in the standings, is not even on the podium.
Dominating the ranking of the best players of FIFA 21 is still Leo Messi, first with 93 points, immediately followed by Cristiano Ronaldo (92) and Robert Lewandovski (91). In fourth place there is a slight upgrade of Kevin De Bruyne, which as in the 2020 edition, remains at 91, but with a higher position. Following with 91 also Neymar (fifth) and Jan Oblak (sixth): the goalkeeper of Atletico is the first of his role, followed in the top 20 by ter Stegen (eleventh) and Alisson (twelfth) with 90, by Neuer (fourteenth) and Courtois (eighteenth) with 89. The top ten is closed by Mbappe with 89 in eighth place, Salah and Mané of Liverpool both at 89 - respectively ninth and tenth place.
The first Serie A player besides Ronaldo is Paulo Dybala, with a value of 88 in 24th position. Surprisingly, after a super season, the Juventus Joya is overtaken by other less offensive players such as Casemiro (89, seventeenth) and Kimmich (88, nineteenth); compared to Fifa 20 Eden Hazard went from fourth place - with 91 - to twenty-second - with 88. Another big flop - as for Hazard, due to a long injury - is that of Giorgio Chiellini, who from the fourteenth place drops to the 47th, even though he lost only one point.
In general, the players of Serie A in this top 100 are less than the last edition: on Fifa 21 are only 17 "Italians" against 23 last year. Less than 20% therefore in a ranking that saw the loss of valuable pieces such as Allan, Manolas and Papu Gomez, while . To underline, however, the upgrade of SS Lazio, with the inclusion of Luis Alberto (85, sixty-fifth position) and the increase of Immobile rating that goes from 86 to 87, gaining the thirtieth place (before was seventy-six).
<span '="">As it happens cyclically, also this year some player did not like the treatment received by Ea Sports, who according to them, would not have paid the right rating. Among the most controversial is Romelu Lukaku of Inter, who on Instagram complained a lot about Fifa’s value - 85, in sixty-fifth place. Already last year Lukaku was angry with Fifa for the score of his speed, and last year, in addition to the Belgian striker, Sancho and Aubameyang also complained.
Let’s be honest fifa just mess with the ratings so we players start complaining about the game and give them more publicity... i ain’t with this sh*t. I know what i do
For egamers, some advice: considering the top twenty players - that is those with an overall from 88 up - Real Madrid is the team with the most representatives (5), followed by Liverpool (4), Bayern (2), PSG (2) and Manchester City (2).
