Lights out on Elland Road, heads of executives and players. This ended the first season of Take Us Home - Leeds United, the documentary on Leeds United produced by Amazon Prime Video and launched on the platform of the same name in August 2019. Now, after the first six episodes, the series returns with a second season to celebrate the return to Premier League team Loco Bielsa, who returned to play in the top division sixteen years after the first time. The series will be available on Amazon Prime Video from September 17, and will consist of two episodes of forty-five minutes each
Amazon has chosen to document two seasons of Leeds chasing the possibility that the team finally returned to the Premier League, so as to celebrate the year of the centenary in the top division. But things did not go according to plan and, in the first season of the docuserie, Leeds was defeated in the semi-finals of the playoffs by Derby County. But after a failed first year, the Bielsa team succeeded on the second attempt, closing a historic season for two reasons. On the one hand, as with all clubs, the team had to face the problems of lockdown and coronavirus, on the other, the Leeds has achieved a historic promotion coming first in the Championship League in the year of the centenary. This second, winning docuserie act is again entrusted by Russel Crowe, already narrator of the first season of Take Us Home - Leeds United and Leeds fan.
As the first season, the docuserie is produced by NEO Studios and by The City Talking, Leeds media company.
