For this reason, from now on, Manchester City will also have an official uniform for its egamers: a Puma shirt made specifically for the Gaming team committed to representing the club in Fifa and Pes tournaments around the world. To be honest, this City release is nothing new. Other clubs have already dressed their egamers in a special shirt, especially in the Premier League - West Ham, Chelsea, - and just like an authentic kit, these outfits are available on the teams' official stores. In any case, for City this is the first historic shirt for the gaming team, made by Puma and worn by Shaun Springette (Shellzz) and Ryan Pessoa (Ryan), the two official egamers of Manchester City.

The shirt is in fact made with a Paisley design similar to the one present on the current third Manchester City shirt, but colored with different shades - shades of green, red and blue instead of blue and white. Club sponsors Nexen Tire and Etisalat will remain visible on the shirts with the logo on the sleeves - one each - while the Puma logo will be in its place on the right and the City crest on the left. The same pattern as a playing jersey. In addition, just like the third, the Gaming uniform has woven in its pattern references to the Nineties music scene of Manchester - the golden age of Brit Pop - creating an additional meeting point between football and that surrounds it, just as City wants to combine the sport played and the virtual one.

Despite the difference in colors, the two jerseys are very close by design and model, an evidence that defines even more clearly the role of gaming in the football context. Football clubs are increasingly inclusive towards the reality of virtual football, and it is not even a coincidence that the number of clubs that join a team in international gaming tournaments is growing over the years - at the eWorld Cup held in Milan last year, there was also Manchester City and Ajax.
