Nagelsmann will be the first coach ever sponsored by Nike Now Brands are looking for managers: after Klopp-adidas, the Swoosh chose the other German

Despite interesting projects such as the third kit inspired by the Air Max 95, for Nike this month was not the best: Neymar Junior, one of the great brand ambassadors of Swoosh, left the American brand to go to Puma. But in Beaverton, in any case, they have come forward with a historic choice. Leipzig coach Julian Nagelsmann will be the first coach in history to have a contract with Nike, which is currently also his club's technical partner. Nagelsmann will sign a long-term contract with Swoosh, although the actual duration of the contract is not known at this time.

Nagelsmann is one of the most hype coaches at the moment, at thirty-three he has already achieved extraordinary results on the pitch with Hoffenheim and Leipzig, while on an aesthetic level, even, he has been called by the Bild "the most hipster coach in the Bundesliga". Practically, his is a status symbol, and Nike, also given the very strong relationship with Leipzig F.C., decided to invest in him. Swoosh's choice is both an important step towards the future of football - sponsored coaches like players, another example being Jurgen Klopp with adidas - and advertising work for the next few years. Nagelsmann is in fact one of the best but also the most promising coaches, and if many in him see a future in the top clubs like Guardiola or Klopp, so Nike tought to invest in him, and ensure a top-level visibility to his brand by dressing the German coach. Which, moreover, is also very popular and appreciated for its outfits, and it is conceivable that Nike wants to exhibit with Nagelsmann not only a sporty style, but also something more streetwear

In any case, it would not be Nagelsmann's first time with Nike garments. Despite his flashy shirts or flashy waistcoats, the former Hoffenheim coach showed up several times on the pitch in Nike's often oversized sweatshirts, in fact almost always those of the club.
