"A desert Palasport, the speaker announcing the formations, this smell of Bolognese fried dumpling that pervades the whole field and makes you think only "when the hell ends". This is the typically sporting context in which the Bolognese Collective HMCF moves.

The Bolognese Collective HMCF is responsible for producing music, writing and carrying out artistic projects. After the work, however, the team members are also a football team, - in fact, the HMCF - that finds itself in the suburbs of Bologna to challenge other teams in the city. After the forced break for the lockdown, their amateur championship will also begin again, and HMFC will no longer be alone. The collective will in fact be sponsored by Joma, the Spanish sports brand seen in this Serie A season also on the shirts of Atalanta and Turin.

As the Collective explains, HMCF plays against the teams of breweries, pizzerias or bars more in the Bolognese hinterland, practically their football territory. "Yes, the team of singers" always say about them, but they actually love the game of butchers that breaks a bit the paradigm that sees sports and culture so far apart. As if someone who liked the last record of Tame Impala could not play football like a mastiff, but it had to be a bit ideological, a little number 10, a little too Javier Pastore.

A short storytelling to give you an example. As the Collective explains, "among the funniest memories that perfectly link this duality between music and football played, there was the one related to the final of the provincial championship 2019, held in a real palasport. People present 12 in a facility of 2500 people. We had just got off the air after 4 days of Spring Sound Festival and, despite being favored, we were in pitiful condition. Palasport desert, the speaker announcing the formations, this smell of Fried dumpling Bolognese that pervades the whole palasport and makes you think only "when the hell ends". After taking the lead thanks to a header from our lowest player - thanks to a 30-metre throw - we conceded the equaliser: we didn't have legs anymore. The head was already fried dumpling and beers that could put our old tiredness back into circulation. But at some point, with the game destined for overtime, another senseless throw by our defender (from effective feet) arrives in the area and "the man of the after party" makes a reversal that still, for us, does not make sense. It follows goals at the end and victory. That's maybe the magic of amateur football."
