The new Kappa jerseys for the centenary of Empoli FC
Uniforms and new logo in a special year for Tuscans
October 26th, 2020
Empoli launched, debuted (3-1 in Friday's match against Pisa) and won with the first of the two shirts created by Kappa to celebrate the centenary of the Tuscan club. For such a goal, Empoli has decided to put history back on the pitch, abandoning the traditional blue that has been accompanying Dionisi's current team for years. One shirt for home matches and one for away matches, with a radical stylistic revolution compared to the shirts presented at the beginning of the season.
Wine red for the home version and black for the away version, strictly without jersey sponsors, with tone-on-tone logos and laces around the neck. The uniforms that Empoli will wear in the matches with Vicenza and Reggiana, in addition to the aforementioned derby against their Pisa, seem like a real journey through time. The jerseys will soon also be available online and in the club store, delivered and sold in a special box. Alongside the new shirts, the Tuscan company has decided to combine a book that tells the 100th anniversary of Empoli, an album of stickers and the new logo, present since the beginning of the season.
