The new 2020-21 River Plate jersey by adidas
Francescoli and Ortega launch the new Millonarios home kit
November 18th, 2020
After some anticipation arrived via social media in recent days, River Plate and adidas launch the new Millonarios jersey for the 2020-21 season. Two players who symbolize the culture of the River were involved in the launch of the first shirt, such as Enzo Francescoli and Ariel Ortega, both featured in the video published on the Argentina team's social accounts.
The "Eternal Band" has not undergone any changes, except in terms of length: compared to previous years, in fact, the oblique line that divides the shirt in two does not stop at shoulder height but also goes beyond the three stripes in light grey.
The shirt will debut on the fourth date of Copa de Liga, scheduled for Friday 20 November at Banfield's "Florencio Sola". The kit is completed by white socks and black shorts, while the other details of the shirt are a V-neck and the adidas logo positioned at the top left.
A historical jersey that has undergone variations over the years, but which has almost always remained faithful to the culture and tradition of the people of the Monumental. A great love story that is reflected in a mystical jersey, like a second skin for the players who wear it.
