Inter Milan, AC Milan, Juventus and AS Roma come on Fortnite

Twenty-three teams and an exultation at pelé. These are the main features of the Pelé Cup on Fortnite, a virtual tournament organized on the video game by Epic Games (in collaboration with Pelé), scheduled for January 20. The winner will be able to unlock the emote of exultation at Pelé free of charge, which will be enabled from January 23rd - of course, with the granting of the rights of the Brazilian champion. But the most original dynamic of the Pelé Cup is the possibility, among the ten chosen men's and women's outfits, to also choose one of the 'Kickoff Sets', that is, the jersey of one of the 23 football clubs with which Epic Games has collaborated for the realization of the tournament.

The teams, including several Italian teams, are Manchester City, Juventus, AC Milan, Inter Milan, AS Roma, Seattle Sounders, Los Angeles, Atlanta United, Santos, West Ham United, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Sevilla, Sporting CP, Borussia Monchengladbach, FC Schalke 04, VfL Wolfsburg, Rangers, Celtic, Cerezo Osaka, Melbourne City, Sydney FC, Western Sydney Wanderers and EC Bahia. The winner will be able to receive for free 'Fancy Footwork' emote dribbling (Pelé's dribbling), and of course, the Pelé Air Punch emote - for non-winners, will be available for purchase starting January 23. Pelé Cup scoring gamers, on the other hand, will be able to win a signed (real) jersey. The game mode is 4v4 style and each match has two rounds: the winners will advance to the next round, while the losing team will play for the third and fourth placements with the opponents of the other match. Gamers will be able to play on the specially created soccer field on the Creative Hub. 

Epic Games has partnered with each of the 23 clubs that have offered the rights to represent their image, building a relationship that will be maintained beyond the Pelé Cup. Kickoff sets with team jerseys will be negotiable beyond the tournament, but this is just the first in a series of football-related fortnite events. For example, both Inter and AC Milan have a tournament scheduled for January 21 - respectively, the Inter Milan Cup and the Fortnite AC Milan Cup - each with the colors and themes of each team. 

Fortnite's relationship with football will then become realistic on Saturday 23rd at 18:00, when AC Milan will play At theSan Siro stadium against Atalanta. In the stands, in the third line of LED screens where the faces of the fans are usually projected, some of Fortnite's most famous avatars will appear. While in the rest of the stadium, empty due to the coronavirus, there will be a thousand cardboard figures of the two Milan avatars created by Epic Games for Fortnite.
