'Because you are my life'

Classic Soccer Jerseys and Escape Vision present 'Perché sei la mia vita' ('Because you are my life'), a project on the repropose of Maradona jerseys of his seasons at Napoli. Those capable of marking a football period not only in Naples, but all over the world, and this project wants to allow Neapolitan fans to embrace the myth of Maradona again through its historical uniforms, collected and worked to present them as if they were those of the past. 

The jersey collection was collected by Classic Soccer Jerseys, a retailer of vintage football jerseys, and NR, a historic sport brand founded by Nicola Raccuglia. The jerseys were selected by CSJ and then processed by NR, who through a restyling brought back the template of the live jersey as that of his time. With accuracy, observation and precision for the work on the details NR worked to bring Maradona's Napoli Calcio uniforms as close as possible to their original version. From the jersey of the 1990 Scudetto to the red jersey with the Mars logo, they propose the jerseys that built the aesthetic myth of Maradona on the field, and that, through 115 goals in more than 250 games, has entered Napoli Calcio in the history of football. 

Daniele Carrano, co-founder of Escape Visione, on 'Why you are my life' says that: "it was really an honor to be able to realize the project. We when we talk about urban culture we also mean this, ok street art, music and streetwear, but being able to walk the street of a city stopping to talk to people and know your emotions (in this case about Maradona) is magical. Before shooting the video and taking the photos I had done an inspection, but it was enough to just walk around the city with the shirt for the contents and emotions to be born".

Maradona's jerseys of the Napoli Calcio 1987-88 and 1988-89 seasons will be put on the market on February 20 at 6.00 pm on the Classic Soccer Jerseys website.
