The new AIK home kit for the 2021 season by Nike

Nike and Stockholm's AIK have launched the new home shirt for the 2021 season - which will start on April 10th. After the wonderful edition with gold inserts presented a month ago, the 12-time Swedish champions start the new championship with the usual elegance and the usual aesthetics, always in the name of the celebrations for the 130 years of the club's history. The celebratory jersey presented in February was used in the three preseason matches, while the new version will accompany Allmänna Idrottsklubben Fotboll throughout the season.

The jersey template is the classic Nike Vaporknit 3, introduced for the 2020-21 season and already used by club teams such as PSG, Tottenham and Atletico Madrid or by national teams such as Portugal, Holland, USA and England. As always, black is the dominant color while the details are in yellow. The front of the jersey features the club crest adapted for the special anniversary on the top left and the Swoosh on the top right, while inside the collar is written "Allmänna Idrottsklubben - stiftad den 15: e februari 1891". The kit is completed by white shorts and socks with black and yellow stripes.

A peculiarity of this shirt is its production: Nike has decided not to create a replica version and to put on the market only and exclusively the competition version at the price of 97 €. A choice, that of the Beaverton brand, probably dictated by the dynamics of the Swedish market.
