Leeds United will be the first football club to have their own emojis

Premier League club Leeds United have partnered with the FanStickerz app, so fans (but in general, by downloading the app, anyone) will be able to use emojis with English club players. With this collaboration, Leeds becomes the first football club to have custom emojis, available for both WhatsApp and iMessage. FanStickerz is an app dedicated to downloading sports emojis, which allows registered users to download material of different English football clubs.

The app is downloadable from both Google Play and the App Store, and there are 16 Leeds emojis available, in total, distributed through monthly packages. There are the main symbols of the enojis already on WhatsApp, such as thumb up, on fire, or laughing. These are re-proposed in this version-Leeds with the most important players of the club representing - in their own way - the various functions. For example, there's rafinha talent that shows approval, or Luke Ayling's exultation as he cheers. Everyone has the Leeds shirt and by the way, Chris Howard, FanStickerz's founder, explained: "We are excited to partner with Leeds to put them at the forefront of revolutionising the way we send messages to our friends and family. Digital messaging platforms are a global phenomenon."
