The Promise of Football, the project of Umbro and Totti Soccer School

The football school founded by Francesco Totti, the Totti Soccer School, started a project together with Umbro, The Promise of Football. It starts on April 21st, and it is a communication campaign that will tell the fundamental moments of the sports activity of the boys of the football school of the former Roma captain about the last twelve months lived by the boys of the Totti Soccer School, who due to the pandemic, had to stop training and review their relationship with football. Umbro's video and photos also want to understand the future for these kids, understanding their aspirations and their relationship with football a year after the advent of the pandemic. 

"We asked the boys what they are willing to do to keep the connection with football alive in a time like this, where there are no challenges, there is no contact, there is no cheering in the stands" explained Michela Tedone, marketing manager of Umbro Italia. While Riccardo Totti, brother of the former footballer and chairman of the Totti Soccer School and who followed the grown of the boys during this difficult period, said: "We are telling them that the day of return to the pitch is getting closer and closer and for that moment they must be ready". Umbro's campaign is focused on the creation of a video and a series of carousels and photos that will be shared in the coming days on the social accounts of Umbro, Umbro Italia and Totti Soccer School. 

The Totti Soccer School was founded in 2003 in the Longarina sports center and has always had Riccardo Totti as president. The Totti family changed its name to the initial company in 2010 - it was called Associazione Sportiva Axa Calcio, born in 1976 - and deals with the annual sporting growth of hundreds of young people. Umbro also started this project for the sharing of values that unite it with the Soccer School, such as integration and sociality: principles at the base of sport, but also fundamental values for the growth of children.
