After the exclusive agreements with AS Roma and SS Lazio, SSC Napoli also signs a partnership with Konami. The Japanese video game company has signed a multi-year agreement that will take effect starting next season. Among the main points of the new contract is the presence exclusively on eFootball PES - starting from the 2022-23 season - of the Azzurri, which will not appear on any other video game. In other words, FIFA videogame by EA Sports will have to find a different name for SSC Napoli as they did for Juventus, which in the meantime has become "Piemonte Calcio".

But the news doesn't stop there: as part of the agreement, Konami has also obtained the naming rights of the "Castel Volturno Sports Center" which from next July 1st will be called "SSC Napoli KONAMI Training Center". In addition to an economic part - not disclosed - that the Neapolitan company will collect, the center will have a brand new and technological gaming area dedicated to both players and guests of the structure.
Other significant steps forward for a greater internationalization of Aurelio De Laurentiis' club, who is studying new plans for the company he acquired 17 years ago, in September 2004. After the hypothesis of internalising the production of kits and EA7 Emporio Armani option as a brand that would allow the transition, Napoli tries to bridge the difference with the big names also in terms of branding and marketing.
