The new PSG font is also inspired by Michael Jordan's Chicago Bulls
But it will only be used in Champions League matches

After last week's release and Jumpman's debut on the Paris Saint-Germain home shirt, the French club also formalizes the new font that will complete the kit. Just like the design of the shirt, the font will also be a tribute to the Chicago Bulls stylistic legacy of Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman. A tribute but not the perfect copy. The style remains similar, with a three-dimensional effect that resembles the other fonts used on a kit produced by Jordan brand and which is even closer to the aesthetics of the 6-time NBA champions.
The new typeface of the Parisians recalls that of the Chicago Bulls also in the red border - the only color in common between the Illinois franchise and the Parc de Princess team - which is used to enhance the 3D effect. On the other hand, one of the characteristics that diversify the two fonts is a less squared and decisive shade.
The peculiarity of the font will be that, despite being on a home jersey, it will be used only and exclusively in Champions League matches. After providing teams with only 3 styles to choose from, last July Ligue 1 made official the single font for the jerseys that will be used during the transalpine championship. So MJ's homage to Chicago Bulls will only be on magical European nights - starting next September.
