The new logo of the Europa League 2021-22

Tomorrow night at the Gdańsk Stadium in Gdansk, Poland, Manchester United and Villarreal will play the final of the Europa League 2021. The big sister of the newly formed Conference League is ready to redo her look from next season. On the occasion of the presentation of the new trophies, UEFA also launched the new Europa League brand identity, with a new logo and new colors. In the new crest - with a much more stylized style than the current version - there is no more space for gray and the only distinctive color remains orange.

The simplification of the logo is a strategic and commercial move that is part of the rebranding that UEFA started about a month ago when, on the occasion of the presentation of the Conference League, it also unveiled the changes to the Champions League logo. An aesthetic and stylistic coherence that serves an organization that has been seriously questioned over the last few months.
