The 134th edition of Wimbledon is approaching, after a year of absence the players will return to tread the iconic green lawn trying to beat the defending champion Novak Djokovic. And for the occasion Polo Ralph Lauren presented its new collection dedicated to the grand slam with many exceptional testimonials such as: Son Heung-min, Maro Itoje, Francesca Hayward, Lucy Campbell and Rekkles. A celebration of sporting traditions and excellence, Ralph Lauren for the fifteenth consecutive year will be Official Outfitter. A tribute to the oldest tennis tournament in the world, a campaign that reminds us, thanks also to the chosen guests, that sportsmanship is kindness and we can all enjoy and share this feeling together.
The American company has chosen exceptional models for a unique and winning style in the stands but not only. The campaign is accompanied by five videos, which can be viewed here, one for each testimonial, where they tell what sport means to them and the right values to transmit, because since its first match in 1877, Wimbledon has been synonymous with tradition, sportsmanship and unity. This year's campaign marks a clear break with that of 2019, where they had organised several digital events in partnership with Snapchat, including a virtual match in the Regent street store. For 2021, Ralph Lauren has once again chosen sportsmen, those who embody the spirit of sport, to present the collection that combines the brand's heritage with decidedly more elegant and classic silhouettes in perfect Wimbledon style.
