They have sold out on all sites, the first available delivery date is mid-October
July 13th, 2021
If in 2019 the renaissance pattern and more specifically the green colour of the national team's jersey had angered the so-called purists of tradition, the first Euro2020 jersey has put everyone in agreement by recording record sales, certainly accomplice also the victory. In fact, both on the PUMA online store and on the FIGC one, the Azzurri home jersey has sold out and is only available for pre-order, but the first delivery date will be mid-October. That of Italy does not seem to be a marketing move inspired by the principle of scarcity but rather the result of a very high demand, so much so that not even the replica jerseys from €90 are available. The yellow jersey worn by Donnarumma during Italy Spain and England Italy is not available on either the FIGC or PUMA websites.
The sudden scarcity of the light blue jersey could activate the usual resell mechanisms, as happened with the Marcelo Burlon x Napoli jersey, which sold out in a few hours and was resold on StockX at a price ten times higher than the sale price. The same fate befell England, where just a few hours before the final it was impossible to find and buy one, either online or in store. The idea of designing and producing a shirt inspired by the Renaissance was certainly a winning move for the German brand, which according to the data contained in the Football Report of the FIGC reported by Calcio e Finanza has never stood out in terms of sales, recording not very high numbers over the years. But this trend is destined to change, a renaissance that comes from the shirt but that passes above all from football played, conquering everyone.
