The new Inter home shirt by Nike
Snakeskin weave takes the place of stripes
July 13th, 2021
Inter and Nike have officially unveiled today the new home kit for the 2021-22 season, full of new features. The first Home Edition will feature the new logo, which also sees the return of the tricolour crest after 11 years of absence. The traditional Nerazzurri stripes make way for a complex snakeskin weave, while after 26 years the historic sponsor Pirelli will no longer be present, instead the Lenovo brand will be present on the back. The Biscione logo, the historical symbol of the Nerazzurri club and the city of Milan, becomes the absolute protagonist of this year, also present in the video published today on Inter's digital channels. At least 95% of the new kit is made from recycled plastic bottles, like all the jerseys produced by Nike.
A real change of skin born to celebrate the new visual identity of Inter, made a few months ago. A jersey created to emphasize the link between the city and the team but which abandons the traditional and historical element such as the stripes, a detail that will surely divide the fans.
