The new Arsenal 2021-22 home kit by adidas
The style of the 1998-99 Gunners of Bergkamp and Henry returns
July 16th, 2021
adidas and Arsenal have just revealed the new home kit for the 2021-22 season. The Gunners aim for a clean and simple design, with a reference that once again comes from the 90s. The mix between the classic white-red and blue navy immediately brings to mind Arsenal of the 1998-99 season with legends such as Dennis Bergkamp, Patrick Vieira and a young Thierry Henry, in his first year in London. The blue details involve the three stripes on the shoulders and the sleeve sponsor (Visit Rwanda), but it also continued on socks - with bands with a retro style - and on shorts - white with red and blue stripes.
As for the away shirt that Saka, Aubameyang and Lacazette will wear next season, inside the collar there is the "Arsenal for Everyone" logo, a project launched in 2008 by the London club to make football a place open to all and that would gather all Arsenal fans without distinction. As for the performance aspect, the shirt was made with the new HEAT.RDY - KEEP COOL cooling system to allow players to stay dry during the matches.
