The new Manchester City 2021-22 away kit by PUMA
The Cityzens also wear one of the club's charity projects on their shirts

Manchester City and PUMA Football have just launched the away kit for the reigning champions. Once again the trend of iridescent crests and logos is one of the novelties of this new season of kits, as also seen on the Barcelona shirt. The design is very simple, with a white background that serves to enhance all the iridescent details - ranging from pink to blue - such as the club logo, the PUMA cat, the jersey sponsor and the sleeves. The same colors are also found on shorts and socks, to complete what is in effect a total white kit. This suggests that PUMA and City have already designed a dark third shirt, after the light colors used for the home and away shirts.
PUMA's campaigns are always coherent and exactly as we have seen in the case of AC Milan and the involvement of Fondazione Milan in the explicit meanings of the shirt, City also puts at the center of the "Cityzens Giving" project, the charity initiative of the Manchester club that aims to make drinking water accessible throughout the world. Water, therefore, is the message and the fulcrum that Pep Guardiola's team wants to send and it does so at every stage of the process: from design to production - made with the particular Dope Dye technique to reduce water consumption - up to to arrive at the collaboration with Xylem, Official Water Technology Partner of the club, which with PUMA has implemented a global program to improve sanitation and access to drinking water supplies for the communities most in need.
