Juventus, after the launch of the AC Milan third kit, also completes its jersey package by revealing the adidas third kit of the season that will officially begin this weekend. Unlike PUMA, which looks to the future trying to break the classic aesthetic diktats of football, adidas once again draws from the archives to come up with a shirt that seems to have come more from a streetwear lookbook than from a sportswear collection. For the occasion, the Bianconeri transform their social colors, paying homage to the historical shades of Turin - yellow and blue are the official colors of the city - and going back thirty years, when in the 90s Juventus often wore these nuances.

The use of the archive is evident, but there is also modernity: the German brand, in fact, used historical colors, designs that recall an aesthetic of a different football but at the same time was able to adapt them to modern trends . The blocks that characterize the shirt come from streetwear culture, increasingly at the center of countless stylistic projects also in football. The company must also be a brand and in this Juventus has been one of the modern watersheds at the Italian level.

To find the last yellow-blue shirt, you have to go back to the 2017-18 season, even if the design of that away version was much simpler and cleaner. To find, however, the first shirt with these shades you have to go back 37 years, when in 1984 for the first time Rossi, Platini and Boniek among many wore these colors.
