Liverpool's new tracksuit inspired by Italy's Euro 96 outfit
A return to the past when the swoosh was the technical sponsor of the Azzurri

Yesterday Liverpool and Nike presented the new training collection that will accompany the Reds throughout the season. Among all the items released to stand out is the tracksuit that takes inspiration from the one used by the Italian national team at EURO96. The design is virtually unchanged, with red replacing blue and the Liverpool logo replacing the version of the FIGC crest used from 1992 to 2000. A real return to the past, the swoosh has decided to dig up from the archives an iconic item that is still in great demand today, worn by players such as Maldini, Casiraghi and Chiesa.
Nike's choice goes against the trend of what we have seen this year, the American company compared to other competitors has proposed unusual patterns and designs such as those of Inter and Tottenham, drawing little and nothing from the archives. That European for Italy was not particularly lucky, the Azzurri in fact went out at the group stage but this tracksuit has remained in the memory of all fans, until a few months you could buy it on Grailed. Now it's Liverpool's turn to reverse this trend, but the Reds are already on the right track considering that they have just recently overtaken Chelsea at the top of the Premier League table.
