What the new symbol on adidas kit's meaning
Appearing both on the insoles of a pair of Yeezy's and on football kits will indicate that such a garment is made from recycled materials

Recently a new symbol appeared on some adidas garments, a stylized sphere cut horizontally and vertically by meridians and parallels. It was found both in the new Yeezy 350 and on the Mexican team Tigres jersey, so much so that many had speculated it could be the new symbol of Yeezy or the logo of Aeroready, the technology of adidas dedicated to sports equipment. A mystery that was soon unraveled: the brand will be used to indicate that the head was made with a certain amount of recycled plastic or Parley Ocean Plastic, adidas program to safeguard the oceans.
For years, adidas has been committed to reducing the consumption of virgin plastic in its garments and is only making its football kits from zero impact materials. Many of these are made from Primeblue, a performance material obtained through the reuse of Parley Ocean Plastic. Now these jerseys will be marked with the geoid symbol, allowing for immediate recognition of the most sustainable products and increasing customer awareness of this green turn. While it has launched Bored Ape Yacht Club, Punks Comic and GMoney to conquer the Metaverse, for those left on this planet adidas is working to keep it alive a little longer.
