Palermo's new fourth jersey with all the historical logos
A special kit created by Kappa to celebrate the 121-year history of the Sicilian team
December 22nd, 2021
Last week Palermo F.C. and Kappa unveiled the new black and gold fourth jersey with pink trim, produced in limited quantities and to be used only in the match against Bari. The special kit was created with the aim of celebrating Palermo F.C.'s recent acquisition of all the logos that have ever belonged to the Rosanero team in its 121-year history: a historic opportunity to re-appropriate the club's identity, which has been fragmented by the succession of ownership changes over the years. A shirt rich in details, such as the two thin horizontal bands, one pink and the other gold, on the sleeve, on the neckline and along the final part of the back of the shirt. Made by Kappa with ultra-light fabrics and Kombat System technology that offers even more comfort, for playing in all weather conditions.
Despite the corporate failures of the various years, the fourth jersey is a further step in the path of enhancing the history of the Rosanero faith, which began already in the 2019/20 season with the Palermo Museum and the two-tone kit celebrating the 120th anniversary, worn last year. Recalls to history particularly present this year, in fact even the first jersey is a tribute to one of the first kits worn by the Rosanero formation in 1907.
