New Balance has created custom boots for Sadio Mané for the African Cup of Nations

The upcoming African Cup of Nations will see many great talents on the field wearing the jerseys of their national teams, but few will be as bright and snappy as Sadio Mané. The Senegalese star player who plays for Liverpool will undoubtedly be one of the stars of the event and to celebrate him, New Balance has decided to present him with a pair of personalized boots for the occasion.

Christened "The Lion Roars", as the nickname of the players of the Senegal national team, are characterized by the strong contrast between the orange and blue tones that light up the silhouette of the FURON 6+. Designed to inspire a new generation of Senegal's young lions, the boots are embellished with a plaque illustrating Mané's best performances in his national team's jersey, testifying to the player's great attachment to the team and the competition. In the video launch of the shoes in fact Mané says that he would gladly trade all the trophies won with the club teams for a success in the continental tournament with the jersey of the Lions of Teranga.

The debut for "The Lion Roars" is scheduled for January 10th, when Senegal will face Zimbabwe in the first match of an African Cup of Nations that Sadio Mané hopes to raise as a protagonist.
