Who will be the first Castore-sponsored team in Serie A?

It is now well known, as we anticipated Castore after Wolves and Newcastle is ready to expand also in Italian football. The brand of the two English brothers starts with a strong concept: "Walls are there to be climbed over". Every day since 2015, Tom and Phil Beahon have dedicated body and soul to their dream, and just a few years after its foundation, that motto is about to become more and more reality. The most insistent rumours concern Lazio, the club of president Lotito is in fact looking for a new technical sponsor who will take the place of Macron at the end of the season. Lazio would be a unique opportunity for Castore to have a good European visibility, considering that the biancoceleste team, thanks to the last seasons, is playing in continuity between Europa League and Champions League. 

But there are other clubs besides the Biancoceleste, Salernitana could be in the running as their contract with Zeus expires at the end of this season, just like Lazio with Macron. The Campania-based team have recently been acquired by new owners and despite not being in the top flight they seem determined to secure their place in Serie A. In the last few days the rumours of the arrival of Diego Costa and other promising players have become more and more insistent, an exciting project for Castore should Salernitana be able to save their lives.

Other possible ambitious paths that the brand could decide to take lead to Milan and Verona whose contracts with their respective sponsors will both expire in 2023. Milan are linked to PUMA since 2018, and this would be a major coup for Castore, who in a few years could link his name to one of the most successful teams in the world. But this way is difficult to go, Milan is used to close contracts with astronomical figures, difficult to achieve perhaps for the English brand. On the other hand, Hellas could be a great bet, a young team used to playing fast, dynamic football, it could be an almost perfect marriage. It should be noted, however, that Tudor's team is linked to Macron until 2023, a brand that has done a great job this year by creating a kit dedicated to Dante Aligheri. There are therefore a lot of cards on the table at the moment for Castore, we'll see where the Beahon brothers decide to go, to finally go over that wall.
