FIFA 23 will be cross-platform
A revolution that will allow users to compete from any console
March 1st, 2022
After Konami's (partly failed) revolution that this summer decided to launch a counter-move to the enemy of a lifetime by becoming free-to-play, one year later FIFA's response was not long in coming. According to various rumours in fact, it seems that from next year the best-selling virtual football game in the world, FIFA, will become cross-platform, but what does that mean? At the moment it is impossible to compete with someone who has a different console, but from next year this will no longer be a problem. Any user playing from Xbox, Playstation or PC will be able to challenge another user with a different console, breaking down what has been a huge limitation until now.
The cross-platform will not be the only novelty in FIFA 23, inside the game there will also be the World Cup both male and female with all the official licenses, while there are no rumors about the possible technologies that the game will adopt to become more realistic. As for the name, it seems that for the next edition will be confirmed the name FIFA, which in all likelihood will disappear permanently from 2023/24 since EASports does not seem willing to buy back the naming rights, giving way to another revolution, yet another.
