Alessandro Bastoni signs with PUMA
Another farewell at Nike, another stroke at PUMA
April 7th, 2022
Alessandro Bastoni has just signed a new sponsorship deal with PUMA Football, ending his relationship with Nike. The Inter player, European champion with the national team, is yet another coup for a brand that is expanding its group of athletes exponentially. After the signing of Neymar in September 2020 and the sponsorships with Jorginho, Coman and Depay, PUMA is undermining the market dominance of giants such as adidas and Nike. Above all, the American brand seems to be losing more and more pieces, seeing a considerable amount of testimonials/athletes leave.
Another important step for PUMA, another result that adds to a strategy that is giving excellent results both in terms of quality of players who decide to wear the German brand and in terms of brand awareness, which has grown a lot in recent years. At the young age of 22, the Inter central defender has worn the shirt 111 times, a staggering number given that Bastoni still has a whole career ahead of him. Following in the footsteps of fellow Italian defender Giorgio Chiellini, Bastoni will wear the new PUMA FUTURE football boots designed for maximum agility.
