Manchester City won the Scudetto in a comeback

Manchester City won the Scudetto in a comeback 10 years after Aguero, comes another title won in a rocambolic manner

In the very year in which Manchester City celebrated with jerseys, collections and statues the iconic title won in the 93rd minute with Aguero's goal, yesterday Guardiola's team won another title in a dramatic way. De Bruyne and his team-mates struggled to win their fourth league title in the last five seasons as they were two goals down at the end of the first half. Jurgen Klopp's Reds, who have already lifted the League Cup and FA Cup and have yet to play in the Champions League final, were one step away from winning the title, but their home win against Wolves was not enough. What spoiled Liverpool's party at Anfield was Gundogan's goal that came with nine nine minutes to go. Goal that marked the Citizens' comeback after a first half played at a very low pace and surprisingly closed with two goals conceded. But don't worry, Manchester City have become accustomed in their history to great comebacks and last-minute overtakes, and so in the second 45 minutes the team took the field with the right attitude, securing victory and the title.

As happened in Milan, the celebrations were not long in coming, in Manchester thousands of fans invaded the city, obviously colouring it blue. Noteworthy was PUMA's initiative, which, as in Milan, organised something unique to celebrate the victory in grand style in honour of the newly crowned 2021/22 Premier League champions. Entitled 'Night of the Blue Moon', PUMA organised a special choreography with 300 drones, featuring an impressive blue light show that paid tribute to Manchester City's extraordinary season after a thrilling title run. From Milan to Manchester, the party is still going on and doesn't seem to stop, in defiance of even rivals Inter and Manchester United, who stood by and watched as the Scudetto party went wild in the cities.
