In order to raise awareness about the problem of pollution in the oceans, adidas is back in charge and thanks to its prestigious collaboration with Parley and the MLS, for the second time has created a special jersey for Miami FC. The campaign, shot in the depths of the Cayman Sea by Jason Washington, was created to highlight the green soul of this initiative, made exclusively with plastic recovered from the oceans, and to underline how important and beautiful it is to have a clean ocean. Plastic that has been collected from Parley's clean-up operations in the most fragile and well-known coastal areas and then reprocessed to make special fibres that can be reused to make clothes and shoes.

"Everyone at the club was excited to once again partner with Jason, Coral, adidas and the MLS on such an important initiative as reducing plastic pollution in the ocean," said Mike Ridley, SVP, Brand and Marketing at Inter Miami CF. "This year, we really wanted to find a way to highlight the fact that when the oceans are free of plastic, marine life repopulates and eventually flourishes, which is critical for a healthy ecosystem."

In addition to David Beckham's team, the jerseys will be worn by all MLS clubs this weekend, with Inter Miami wearing the kits on Saturday 28 May when they host the Portland Timbers at DRV PNK Stadium. Hats off to adidas, not only for the noble motivations behind making the kits, but also because, perhaps because of their minimalist, monochrome look, they are so pleasing. Miami FC's is done in a pale pink that makes the players look elegant, proving that this is no ordinary kit.
