How went the Rome stage of the Kappa Cup
The last round of the triangular took place in the capital, with Ginnika triumphing
June 7th, 2022
After the stages in Milan and Naples last Saturday, the Kappa Cup, the special triangular created by Kappa, came to an end with the stage in Rome at the Orange Football Club where Touch The Wood, l'Ultimo Uomo and Ginnika challenged each other. And it was Ginnika who came out on top, deservedly winning both games played and managing to keep their goal unbroken throughout the triangular. Despite Ginnika's domination of the field, which came thanks to an excellent ball possession and a granitic defence, as always it was an afternoon of celebration and relaxation, to put aside just for a moment the daily routine and think only of the ball, the field and new and old friends. These were the moments that characterised the Kappa Cup events, not only of the last leg in the capital but of every appointment.
As always, the Kappa Cup didn't end after the referee's triple whistle, but after the necessary ice showers we gathered together for the inevitable discussions about the matches just played, uncorking a beer and relaxing on the sofas. Animating the post-match action was Touch The Wood, who despite failing to win on the pitch, created a unique atmosphere with a DJ set that went on until the sun went down. To accompany everything there was the rich Roman culinary tradition, as happened in Milan and Naples, Kappa thought of everything, organising an aperitif for all present with local dishes as protagonists.
