Altletico Madrid's new jerseys signed by Nike for the 2022-23 season

After finishing the championship in third position behind their two great rivals, Atletico Madrid together with Nike today presented the first two jerseys that will accompany the colchoneros next season. The first jersey will be red and white striped as always, and is inspired by the river meanders where the team's old stadium, the Vicente Calderón, used to be. The away kit will instead be black with dark and light blue inserts. But that's not all, along with the two new jerseys the colchoneros will release a commemorative jersey next year, on the occasion of their 120th birthday, again with red and white stripes but very classic. In addition to the fourth jersey for which we will have to wait another year, Atletico Madrid have also indicated the release of the third, which will arrive before the season opener in the Champions League. 

The stripes in the first jersey change from last year, but what is surprising is undoubtedly Nike's choice to make a template for all its biggest teams. Both Barcelona's and Atletico's jerseys, and as can be seen from the leaks of Inter's, the template of the first jerseys is unique for all of them. A strange, almost inexplicable choice by Nike that also involved the jersey of Simeone's team, officially ready to start again with its wavy stripes.
