The new Bayern Munich away jersey by adidas

From London with Chelsea's new kit to Bavaria with Bayern Munich's new adidas away kit. The club that has won the last ten editions of the Bundesliga has just unveiled its new away shirt for the 2022-23 season. The German club has opted for a clean and elegant, almost regal, all-white kit with gold inserts. A shirt that recounts the winning seasons, the absolute dominance in German football - also embellished by Champions League victories - but also the strong bond between the city and the team, between the club and Munich.

Jan-Christian Dreesen, Vice-President of FC Bayern: 'With this shirt we want to show our connection to our home, as we did last year. FC Bayern is proud of its roots. In addition, we are closely linked to the city with many joint campaigns and social projects, such as helping refugees from Ukraine or our Reds against Racism initiative. This kind of collaboration has an impact far beyond football'.

adidas football, compared to last year's geometric design, wanted to leave the jersey bare of any pattern, a choice that makes the jersey very elegant and streetwear at the same time. The references to the incredible record are not the only details that make this kit special. On the back, near the neck, there is a stylised image of the 'Münchner Kindl', the symbol par excellence of Munich. Logo and sponsor match the gold chosen for the jersey details, and white shorts and socks complete the kit. The team is scheduled to make its debut on the pitch in a few weeks in the customary American tour.
