Borussia Dortmund unveiled the third jersey An alternative to the traditional home kit that will be worn in the Champions League and DfB Pokal

PUMA and Borussia Dortmund have come full circle. Today the third yellow jersey was presented, which will be an alternative to the traditional home kit worn in the Champions League and the DfB Pokal. The jersey is inspired by the one worn in 1989, when the Gialloneri won the DfB Pokal against Werder Bremen. As in the past, the third shirt will not have the 1&1 sponsor, which will instead be replaced by Evonik.

Making the third kit in yellow has now become customary for BVB, despite the fact that the look is obviously the home kit. In fact, since the beginning of their partnership, which turns ten years old this year, the German brand has always made an alternative yellow jersey in addition to the first. This year PUMA opted for a simple look after complaints last year, when the club led by Reus decided not to wear the third jersey, asking the brand to change some details, including the colour.
