AC Milan's fourth jersey for the 2021/22 season, produced by PUMA in collaboration with NEMEN, has become the inspiration for a Malaysian team's jersey, although it was not popular when it was unveiled at the end of last season. Indeed, Umbro FC Terengganu has provided a special jersey that uses the same white brush strokes to cover the black and light blue vertical stripes, in a similar way to AC Milan's Rossoneri.

If last year's PUMA and fourth NEMEN jerseys were described as for house painters because the stripes only disappeared into the white in the middle where the commercial sponsor was located, which was even criticised by the fans themselves, this feedback obviously did not reach the other side of the world, where instead the appeal of the Rossoneri is always strong. It is nothing new that teams in the lower leagues are directly inspired by the models and templates of the most famous clubs in the world. Perhaps it was not to be expected that the reference was one of the least appreciated jerseys of recent times.
