That Parma Calcio will return to wearing PUMA for the next seasons is news that had already been made official in recent days, immediately bringing back memories of the seasons of the 1990s when the brand signed the shirts of one of the best teams in Europe, led by players such as Hernan Crespo, Fabio Cannavaro, Enrico Chiesa and Gigi Buffon. Buffon himself, along with other players of the first team, was present yesterday at the event that the ducal team organized to present the partnership, commenting to nss sports on his feelings regarding the return of PUMA on the Gialloblù uniforms: "Putting on the jersey that I wore on my debut is Parma makes me a little strange, it's a beautiful coincidence. It is a throwback but projected into the future, a madness. If anyone had to write this story with the players of that era it would have been impossible to think".
The event officially kicked off a multi-year partnership that hopes to repeat the results achieved from 1995 to 1998, when the Gialloblù qualified for the Champions League for the first time and reached a historic second place in the 96/97 championship. Also present in Parma were the players of the women's team, who took part in a party aimed at uniting all fans, generation after generation, around the symbols and colours of Parma Calcio. Between freestyle shows and a live concert, now Parma is waiting to finish this season, in which the dream of finally returning to Serie A is still alive.
