In the tour the force of releases and presentations of new jerseys for next season, Macron also responded by unveiling Bologna's new jerseys for the 2023/24 season. The Home and Away models are two of the most interesting of the upcoming Serie A, and the reason as often happens is in the retro references, which project the new kits into an early 2000s imagery. Among the novelties that immediately jump to the eye in the two new shirts is the change of sponsor, which sees the end of the partnership with Cazoo (already announced in recent months) and the arrival of Saputo, the Canadian company of the Emilian team's president of the same name.
The Home kit is characterised by four blue and red vertical bands, with the collar and crest pattern covering the whole shirt tone on tone, alternating a very interesting shiny-matt effect inspired by the past. On the back of the collar is the inscription 'LO SQUADRONE CHE TREMARE IL MONDO FA' ('The team that makes the world tremble'), a name given to that generation of Gialloblù players who won six Scudetti between the 1920s and 1930s. The kit is completed by blue socks and white shorts, which feature a diagonal stripe, an element that returns in the Away jersey.
The Away kit is white, crossed by two diagonal stripes running from left to right. The particularity is the choice of placing the Bologna crest in the centre of the shirt, just below the V-neck and the collar. The shorts in this case are blue and again the red diagonal band on the thigh, both front and back, returns. The socks, on the other hand, are white with a blue upper border, as blue is the writing BOLOGNA.
