The new kit is a tribute to the Red Devils' first away kits

Manchester United is in the United States for the summer tour and will also have a new shirt for the next friendly scheduled for July 25 against Wrexham. In fact, the Red Devils today presented the new away jersey, which will officially debut at the Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego against the team owned by actor Ryan Reynolds among others. The shirt produced by adidas is inspired by the architecture of the city of Manchester and the vertical stripes from the club's first shirts.
Many of the first team players took part in the presentation shots of the new kit, including Marcus Rashford and new signing Mason Mount. The night green shirt is inspired by the shades of the architecture of the English city, the burgundy red for example, which together with the white marks the shirt with vertical stripes, is a reference to the color of the bricks of which many of Manchester's houses are made. The vertical stripes are the real predominant element of the shirt, considering that they join the adidas Three Stripes, especially in the long-sleeved version, for a scheme that also returns in the socks, while the shorts are black. Among the details that embellish the kit is the thin ribbed crew-neck collar.
