Kappa and Surgeon jersey inspired by EURO 2000

Kappa presented the latest of its special projects. It is a jersey developed together with the creative collective Surgeon, from the mind of Dominic Ciambrone in Los Angeles. Limited to just 150 pieces, the new jersey draws on Kappa's tradition and most recognisable elements, as well as the design of an iconic jersey worn by the Italian national football team. The design is based on the Azzurri's training jersey from EURO 2000, when the national team was sponsored by Kappa. Kappa designed an oversized jersey for the tournament with three-quarter-length sleeves and the association logo covering the entire front of the jersey.

The new limited edition jersey is black and white, with gold details that enhance the design and highlight the symbols of Kappa, Surgeon and those of the national team. On the sleeves, the Omini di Kappa alternate with the logo of the creative studio, which also reappears as a crest and in a larger size in the centre, overlaying the old FIGC logo. The collar is the same as on the 2000 jersey, V-shaped and with a thick retro-style border. The words "trust the process" are embroidered on the back of the jersey to complete the detailed jersey, which also appears on the shorts of this limited edition.
