C.P. Company will be the formalwear partner for Manchester City
Starting from the 2024/2025 season, but only for the Champions League

UPDATE: After numerous rumours, C.P. Company and Manchester United have finally made their partnership official as Official Style Fashionwear Partners from the 2024/25 season. The connection between C.P. Company and Manchester City goes back to the development of identity symbols linked to the aesthetics of football, such as the Goggle Jacket, which has been worn by England fans since the 1980s. Since 1988, the Goggle Jacket has been C.P. Company's most iconic and distinctive garment, a symbol of functionality and unique design thanks to the goggle lenses integrated into the bonnet. It's produced in the two identifying colours of C.P. Company (navy blue) and Manchester City (light blue) to accompany Manchester City's men's first team players, technical staff and management when travelling and arriving at the stadium for away matches in the UEFA Champions League and other seasonal events.
That the Champions League is one of the football stages to enjoy greater attention is undeniable: the eyes of the spectators hardly fail to capture details and particulars of the matches of the world's most important club competition, both during the ninety minutes and in the pre-match moments. For this reason as well, C.P. Company has decided to enter into a partnership with Manchester City, becoming the official producer of the club's formalwear during Champions League nights. The brand founded in 1971 by Massimo Osti, therefore, will take the place of Dsquared2 in the midweek matches played by the Citizens; in fact, even the agreement with the Dean and Dan Caten brand did not include matches in the F.A. Cup, EFL, and Premier League. This is a stylistic change of considerable importance, just think that less than a year ago Manchester City and Dsquared2 had released a prêt-à-porter capsule collection and accessories far from the C.P. Company aesthetic, which not only rejects the use of front and back prints on garments, but also silhouettes such as bombers and tight pants.

The agreement will start from the 2024/2025 season and will last for the next 7 seasons, replicating the contract signed with Dsquared2 in the 2015/2016 season. For the next few months, we can only imagine what the first collection made by the Italian brand for Manchester City will be like. Most likely, Foden, Haaland, and Bernardo Silva will not wear a formal suit, but rather an urban sportswear outfit, a clothing category in which C.P. Company is not only included but is also a pioneer. Pep Guardiola, who will coach City next season as well, will be very pleased with the club's operation, considering his passion for Stone Island, a brand also founded by Osti. In addition to contributing to expanding the club's trophy cabinet, which until a few years ago was rather sparse, the Spanish coach has taught the meaning of dressing with style, and especially in a different way from the vast majority of coaches.
C.P. Company is the brand that can help Pep Guardiola maintain his immaculate and elegant style. Today, we can only speculate on what kind of sneakers he will pair with the C.P.
