The collection by PSG and Born x Raised
After making its debut on the pitch in Le Classique against Marseille, here is the entire collaboration
April 4th, 2024
Last Saturday in Le Classique against Olympique de Marseille, Paris Saint-Germain took the field with a new font on their jersey. Created in collaboration with the Californian brand Born x Raised, it was just the first sign of the upcoming collaboration that will officially be released on April 5th. Another piece in the puzzle of the relationship between football and fashion that the Parisian team has been pursuing in the last decade. And once again, the lifestyle collection including t-shirts and sweatshirts with the dual black and white logo, the highlight remains the game kits, similar to those worn by Mbappé and his teammates in their victorious match at the Velodrome.
Instead of the player's last name, we find the inscription Born x Raised in the gothic font typically used by the brand, while under the number 22 one can choose between the inscription Los Angeles or Paris. The connection between the City of Light and the City of Angels once again demonstrates the desire to establish themselves on the other side of the ocean, if the relationship with Jordan Brand wasn't already enough, through the subcultures of skateboarding and surfing. And the attention that the Parisian club pays to the fonts on their jerseys, changed multiple times during the season thanks to collaborations with designers and brands.
