From the 2025/26 season, the Reds will leave Nike to sign with the Three Stripes' rivals

The Liverpool will be the next big team to change technical sponsor. The news, which had been in the air for the last few months, was confirmed exclusively today by the authoritative online publication SportBusiness, which announced that the Reds will leave Nike and sign with adidas starting from the 2025/26 season. After 13 years, Liverpool will once again wear the Three Stripes, signing an important sponsorship contract that will rival the recently extended one with Manchester United. After a brief period during which the club evaluated offers from major international players - in addition to Nike and adidas, PUMA also made an offer - before accepting adidas' offer, eager to add a heavyweight client after the shock of the German National Team's departure.
Liverpool is leaving Nike after only five seasons, after previously terminating their contract with New Balance by winning a court case regarding the brand's ability to match the offers of its competitors. With adidas, Liverpool went on to win the Premier League after thirty years and their sixth Champions League title in history. adidas' choice, which had signed Liverpool and England star Trent Alexander-Arnold to a lucrative boot contract at the end of last year, is to continue their presence in the Premier League where they supply kits for Manchester United and Arsenal, as well as future agreements with Newcastle United and Aston Villa, who will leave Castore to wear the Three Stripes. Will the vibes of Torres, Gerrard and Mascherano return to Anfield?
