The new Lazio shirt pays homage to the victory of the first league title

S.S. Lazio and Mizuno celebrate the 50th anniversary of the historic first league title victory by releasing the Special 50th Anniversary Kit. Exactly 50 years will have passed on May 12 since the final whistle of referee Panzino officially sealed the victory of the first historic league title for the Biancocelesti: a team that achieved the extraordinary feat of defeating the opposing teams from the north - led by Tommaso Maestrelli, one of the coaches fondly remembered in Lazio's history. To celebrate that team and that historic achievement, S.S. Lazio and Mizuno have designed a special kit that the team, currently coached by Igor Tudor, will wear on the thirty-sixth matchday against Empoli.

The Special 50th Anniversary Kit worn by the players in the match, consisting of a jersey, shorts, and socks, will be accompanied by a lifestyle capsule collection consisting of a track jacket, a t-shirt, a cap, a backpack, and a gymsack. Making the jersey even more unique are the details that enhance the design. The prominent names of the entire squad and coach Tommaso Maestrelli form the vertical stripes. The wide edges of the collar and sleeves are ribbed in white, while a tricolor band appears on the backneck. On the front of the jersey, to the right below the club badge, a golden banner appears with the inscription 73/74 - another clear reference to the trophy won, while the Mizuno Runbird logo is applied on the left side.
