Umbro launches new football jerseys in celebration for EURO 2024
The 'United by Umbro' collection celebrates the brand's centenary year

British sports brand Umbro continues marking its Centenary year with the launch of United by Umbro, a fresh global collection and campaign celebrating the upcoming tournament. Inspired by Umbro’s rich-design history, the United by Umbro collection underlines the unifying power of football through a series of striking mash-up jerseys for a selection of countries which qualified for the competition. Delving into Umbro’s archive of iconic Teamwear graphics (some of them worn by teams at the highest level) each style is reimagined for modern fans who take their casualwear cues from both football and fashion. With 100 years of sporting history in every stitch, the jerseys are embellished with unique woven crests, designed by revered kit designer and Blood In Blood Out founder, Floor Wesseling. Tapping into Floor’s expertise in Heraldry, the crests unite traditional and contemporary heraldic identifiers for each European nation in the collection creating a tribute to the unwavering passion supporters hold for their national teams.
All United by Umbro jerseys are crafted from 100% recycled polyester. Complementing the jerseys, the collection also features leisure shorts made from loopback fleece and a range of graphic T-shirts for competing nations. Bringing the new collection to vivid life is this season’s United by Umbro campaign shot by Manchester-born photographer, Louis Bever.
