Emporio Armani is the formal wear for the Italian national team for Euro 2024
It could be a good omen after Euro 2020
June 11th, 2024
After the 2021 victory (Euro 2020), the Italian national team will wear formal attire by Emporio Armani for Euro 2024, scheduled to take place in Germany from June 14 to July 14. The outfit consists of a two-button blue jacket with the word "Italia" in caps lock on the back, paired with denim trousers and a light blue shirt. The cotton knit jacket is inspired by the one worn by the national team in 1928, which also features the graphic of the emblem placed on the upper pocket. The colors, comfortable fabric, and dynamic and elegant lines reflect the brand's authentic spirit. The initiative is part of a four-year collaboration plan, signed in 2019 by Giorgio Armani with the FIGC, for the creation of the Emporio Armani formal wardrobe for the Italian national football team, the Under-21 team, and the Women's National team. Giorgio Armani has dressed the Italian national team and collaborated with some of the most important clubs internationally, designing their official uniforms.
The Emporio Armani formal wear can become a real good luck charm for the Azzurri, who are preparing for a sports competition synonymous with rebirth after the victory three years ago, but especially after failing to qualify for the 2022 Qatar World Cup. Spalletti and his team have already showcased the outfit in the two pre-Euro friendly matches against Turkey and Bosnia. In 2021, the Italian national team wore a suit with very thin white and blue stripes with a mandarin collar and soft black trousers. The suit worn by Roberto Mancini, Gianluca Vialli, and Lele Oriali had a different style: more classic, recalling the 80s aesthetics of Enzo Bearzot. This time, however, the players' and technical staff's outfit will be the same.
