Liverpool unveiled the new Away kit
The Nike jersey will be worn for the last match of the US tournée
August 2nd, 2024
A few days ago, as a guest at an event in Philadelphia as part of Liverpool's US tournée schedule, Dominik Szoboszlai appeared on stage wearing an unseen jersey. Right from the start it was clear that the Hungarian midfielder had just publicly displayed Liverpool's new Away kit for the 2024/2025 season, now officially unveiled by the club. If the Home kit features the classic red colour, the tones chosen by Nike for the away jersey are dark green/anthracite, with teal details on the cuffs and other white details, such as the Swoosh and club crest, inserted on the chest. As stated in the club's official press release, the earthy colours are inspired by the street signs typical of the city of Liverpool.
The shirt will make its official US debut on Saturday August 3rd against Manchester United at the William-Brice Stadium (South Carolina) in the penultimate game the Reds will play before the start of the Premier League. The league debut will be against newly-promoted Ipswich Town, meanwhile Liverpool have also added the last piece missing at the start of a season in which there will be many novelties, starting with new coach Arne Slot and ending with new kit.
