October 3rd, 2024
After participating in the fashion show of the brand Labrum London during London's Fashion Week, Arsenal continues to enter the world of fashion, this time choosing a more streetwear side with their first collection in collaboration with Aries Arise. This partnership is the first independent partnership for Arsenal and the first foray into the Premier League for Aries Arise, after previously collaborating with AS Roma two seasons ago. This fashion collaboration brings together the worlds of football and culture to create an exclusive collection for the "Arsenal Faithful". Combining Arsenal's heritage in North London with Aries' luxury streetwear aesthetic, the collaboration features classic Aries silhouettes reimagined and dedicated to Arsenal fans around the world. The collection, consisting of 26 pieces, includes streetwear basics such as jersey tracksuits, graphic tees, football shirts, and sets of nylon and jacquard jeans. The collection also features typical Aries pieces, including a navy wool bomber jacket embroidered with Arsenal's iconic cannon on the back, accessories such as caps, football scarves, and stickers, and exclusive Arsenal x Aries jewelry with the letter "A".
The personalized graphics throughout the range include "1886", the year the club was founded, and "Arsenal", written in Aries characters. Ares, the Greek god of war and courage, is featured alongside influential figures in Arsenal's rich history, legendary manager Herbert Chapman and lifelong president Ken Friar, immortalized in the collection's designs. The collaboration showcases the shared values of Arsenal and Aries of unity and community, with the participation of Arsenal players Martin Odegaard, Alessia Russo, Bukayo Saka, Declan Rice, and Beth Mead, loyal Arsenal supporters Ghetts, ShyGirl, Lava La Rue, Kaya Scodelario, Clive Palmer, and Knucks, as well as the vocal talents of London City Voices, all present as part of the "Arsenal Faithful". After walking the runway, Declan Rice commented on the collaboration, saying, "I’m passionate about fashion and after walking in London Fashion Week, it feels great to be involved in this collaboration. I loved being part of the shoot with our supporters and Arsenal teammates, it felt like a real family moment.”
