October 10th, 2024
Athens Kallithea FC has completed its trilogy of jerseys for the 2024/25 season with the launch of the third in a total black version, available in both long and short sleeve styles. The president and creative director of the Greek club, Ted Philipakos, continues his collaboration with Kappa andwith the design studio Bureau Borsche to create an item never seen in the club's history. After releasing the home jersey for the 2024/25 season with the short film Hold Me Close to You, to present the third jersey of the 2024/25 season, as always signed by Kappa, the club president involved the Athenian photographer Yiorgos Mavropoulos, known for his intimate and abstract style in black and white photography.
The campaign features Greek model Theopisti Pourliotopoulou and was filmed at Mona Athens, the former textile factory from the 1950s transformed into an elegant boutique hotel located in the bohemian district of Psyrri. After an 18-year absence, AKFC has returned this season to the Greek Super League and is currently four points away from the playoffs for qualification to the UEFA Conference League, so the club hopes that the tone-on-tone design can provide the right boldness to its players.
