Colombia's commemorative jersey is a hit
The centenary of the Federation according to adidas Originals
October 14th, 2024
The commemorative jerseys for centenaries always have a special charm, combining new technologies with the most classic and traditional designs. And the new kit launched by the Colombian Federation is one of the most beautiful seen so far this season, thanks to its timeless design that recalls that of the pioneers of South American football. Founded on October 12, 1924, the Colombian Football Federation has always been characterized by its aesthetics, now celebrated by adidas with a special edition kit and capsule. The special edition jersey is inspired by the one worn by the national team for the 1945 South American Championship. The off-white base is crossed by the yellow, blue and red tricolor stripe, symbol of the Colombian flag that represents the passion of a country towards its national team.
The return of the Trefoil logo, protagonist of adidas Originals' most beautiful collections this season, can be found on the right side of the chest, in front of the Colombia emblem, both presented in light colors that are not visible from afar, giving off a very retro vibe. Even the collar and cuffs are characterized by the trio of colors of the national flag, giving a nice finish to the look. Inside the collar there is a special graphic of the number 100, accompanied by the Colombian emblem and the letters FCF, to celebrate the centenary of Colombian football. In addition to the jersey, the capsule includes an Originals Beckenbauer tracksuit, worn by the national team players during this week's match against Bolivia.
